'According to an FOI response from CMS, between 2020 and 2022, there were 4,959 reported deaths of Paying Parents. This equates to an annual mortality rate of 2,479 deaths per year within the CMS Paying Parent population.'
This book documents the decade long ordeal of domestic abuse I suffered, and aims not only to tell my story, but also to convey a message to all others in the same situation: you are not alone. Parts of this book will make for disturbing reading, but I refuse to suffer in silence as that's what perpetrators of this vile behaviour want. For this reason they isolate you from your support network and resort to brutal tactics to prevent you from telling the truth. But I revolted against it and threw this vile women out of my life. This book will tell my story.

At the start of the school year of 2021, my younger daughter advised me not to go to a school parent's event as her mother was attending! I warned, in no uncertain terms, that if she assaulted or threatened me (In front of the parents and school staff!) I would restrain her until the police arrived - and give evidence against her! I would have pressed charges, and this would have remained on her DBS (Disclosure and barring service) record for years to come, with serious consequences for her career. And incidentally, I am security trained and know how to do this lawfully. In retrospect, I wish that I could have done this during the marriage and given her a criminal record - but on the first occasion she physically assaulted me, on valentines' day 2008, my older daughter was a four month old baby.
